1. Introductory Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between the service provider and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Client") when ordering translation and interpreting services via the website www.havlickova.net.

1.2. Provider:

1.3. The Provider is not a VAT payer.

2. Order and Conclusion of Contract

2.1. A contractual relationship is established upon the confirmation of a binding order by the Provider (via e-mail).

2.2. The subject of the service is the execution of a translation, proofreading, or the provision of interpreting according to the specifications in the order.

2.3. The delivery deadline is determined individually in the order confirmation.

3. Payment Terms and GoPay Gateway

3.1. The price for services is determined according to the current price list or an individual calculation.

3.2. Payment can be made:

  • By bank transfer based on an invoice.
  • In cash against a receipt.
  • Online by payment card or rapid bank transfer via the GoPay payment gateway.

3.3. In the case of payment via GoPay, the Client is redirected to the secure interface of the gateway after submitting the order (or approving the calculation). The service is considered paid at the moment the payment is credited to the Provider's account.

4. Delivery of Service

4.1. Translations are standardly delivered in electronic form (via e-mail) in the agreed format (.docx, .pdf, etc.).

4.2. Certified translations are delivered electronically or in hard copy.

4.3. Interpreting takes place at the time and location specified in the order.

5. Withdrawal from the Contract and Cancellation Policy

5.1. Service Specifics: Given that a translation is a service prepared according to the consumer's wishes (Section 1837(d) of the Civil Code), it is not possible to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason once work on the translation has commenced.

5.2. If the Client cancels the order before work has commenced, the full amount will be refunded to their account/card via the GoPay gateway.

5.3. For interpreting, the following cancellation fees apply after binding approval of the assignment:

  • 2–5 business days before the interpreting date: 50% of the price.
  • Less than 2 days before the date: 100% of the price.

6. Complaints and Liability

6.1. The Client has the right to claim defects in the translation (e.g., terminological errors) within 14 days of receipt.

6.2. Complaints must be submitted in writing to the e-mail: hana@havlickova.net. 6.3. The Provider undertakes to rectify defects within a reasonable period.

7. Personal Data Protection and Confidentiality

7.1. The Provider undertakes to maintain confidentiality regarding all facts learned in connection with the performance of their interpreting or translation activities.

7.2. Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR solely for the purposes of contract fulfillment. Payment data is processed exclusively by the company GOPAY s.r.o.
